Three-star Los Angeles-area defensive back Chance Harrison announced Thursday evening that he decommitted from the Arizona Wildcats' 2024 recruiting class and intends on signing with Colorado State.

The 6-1, 175-pound standout at Rio Mesa High School in Oxnard, California committed to Arizona in August after originally committing to BYU. Harrison also held offers from Washington State, San Diego State, Boston College and San Jose State, among others.

Harrison is the seventh player to decommit from Arizona's 2024 recruiting class.

Arizona currently has 21 pledges for the upcoming '24 class, which is ranked fourth in the Big 12 behind Texas Tech, TCU and UCF, per 247Sports.com

The early signing period for the 2024 recruiting class is on Dec. 20.

Arizona head coach Jedd Fisch held a news conference this week and discussed the Wildcats ending the regular season 9-3, bowl game prep, coaching contracts and increasing the salary pool, transfer portal and potential bowl opt-outs, among other topics. Video by Justin Spears / Arizona Daily Star
