UA football media day

Could this man be Arizona's best option at punter?

Starting right tackle Gerhard de Beer is listed as questionable on the Arizona Wildcats’ injury report for Saturday night’s game against Colorado (8 p.m., Fox Sports 1).

De Beer left in the second half of last week’s game at Washington State because of a knee injury. He had a brace on his left leg while walking around the UA football facility Wednesday.

If de Beer can’t play, redshirt freshman Cody Creason likely would get the starting assignment. Creason started against Hawaii on Sept. 17 and has subbed for de Beer at various times this season.

Right guard Jacob Alsadek is not listed on the injury report. Alsadek did not play against Washington State because of an undisclosed injury. He was not listed on last week’s report either.

Also absent from the injury report: "Stud" linebacker DeAndre' Miller. Miller most missed of the Washington State game because of an ankle injury.

Linebacker Michael Barton, who hurt his knee against Stanford on Oct. 29, is listed as probable. Barton missed the second half of that game and all of last week’s game. If able to play, he will share time with Jake Matthews at the “Mike” linebacker spot.

Receiver Tyrell Johnson (hamstring) and tailback Nick Wilson (knee) remain out. UA coach Rich Rodriguez indicated earlier this week that Wilson would miss the rest of the season.
