Arizona Wildcats football OLD

The Arizona Wildcats will face FCS powerhouse and noted giant killer North Dakota State in a non-conference football game in 2022.

The schools will square off for the first time on Saturday, Sept. 17, 2022, at Arizona Stadium, NDSU announced Monday.

The Bison are the most consistently successful program in FCS, having won five consecutive national championships before falling in the semifinals to eventual champ James Madison last season.

As the school noted in a news release, North Dakota State is 9-3 against FBS teams and has won six in a row, including last yearโ€™s 23-21 victory over then-No. 13 Iowa.

The Arizona game is the second of three for NDSU against Pac-12 opponents. The Bison are scheduled to visit Oregon in 2020 and Colorado in 2024.
