The Arizona Wildcats will be traveling for practice this week, and maybe that's a good thing.

The UA will relocate to the Arizona Cardinals' training facility in Tempe for two days. The team will work out once Wednesday and twice on Thursday. The Cardinals offered their fields after rains swept through Tucson on Tuesday, washing out a scheduled UA practice — the UA's first since learning of offensive lineman Zach Hemmila's death Monday.

Rain remains in the forecast for the coming days.

Before departure, UA coach Rich Rodriguez and select players will speak to the media for the first time since Hemmila's passing. The fifth-year senior died in his sleep, sometime before Monday morning, Rodriguez and athletic director Greg Byrne said.

The Wildcats are expected to resume the regular fall camp practice schedule with a morning practice on Friday. The Wildcats are slated to visit Fort Huachuca over the weekend; it's unclear if their new plans will affect the scheduled trip.
