One of the few times Arizona held the advantage against USC going into the game was 1993. The #12 ranked Wildcats had the "Desert Swarm" defense, featuring Tedy Bruschi and Rob Waldrop. They also had a legit offense with transfer QB Dan White and receivers Richard Dice and Troy Dickey. The result, for a change, was predictable: Arizona 38, USC 7.
