Nick Foles completed a task that no other quarterback in Super Bowl history has done other than Eli Manning: take down arguably the greatest quarterback of all-time in Tom Brady and the New England Patriots dynasty.

The Philadelphia Eagles topped the Patriots in Super Bowl 52 Sunday 41-33 in Minneapolis. The ex-Wildcat Foles went 28 of 43 passing for 373 yards and three touchdowns and became the first UA quarterback to ever win a Super Bowl.

In the first half, Foles showed off his wide receiver skills with a one-yard touchdown reception from Eagles wide receiver Trey Burton.

The Eagles went into halftime with a 22-12 lead, but the Patriots came back behind another former Wildcat Rob Gronkowski who contributed two touchdowns in the second half, and took the lead 33-32 with 9:22 left in the game. However, Foles drove down the field on the following possession and capped it off with his third and final touchdown of the night.

Then, with the ball in Brady's hands, the usual primetime performer collapsed in the pocket and fumbled the ball, which the Eagles recovered. Philadelphia responded with a field goal to take a 41-33 lead with 1:10 left. Despite Brady having another chance, the Eagles defense came in clutch and stopped the Patriots from stealing the Super Bowl away from Foles and the Eagles.

Gronkowski is now 2-2 in Super Bowls, while Foles walks away with a clean 1-0 record.

What a time to be a Wildcat.
