The University of Arizona softball team is still looking for its first road win in Pac-12 play.

The No. 9-ranked Wildcats fell to 0-6 in league play away from Tucson, losing 8-0 and 10-0 at No. 5 Oregon on Sunday.

UA is 6-0 at home but has been swept by Washington and the Ducks on its two trips. The Wildcats are 27-9 overall and 6-6 in Pac-12 play.

The first game Sunday was a continuation of Saturday’s contest that was delayed a day due to rain with the Ducks (32-6, 7-2) up 5-0 in the fifth inning. The Ducks quickly ended it, with two runs on an error and then the game-clinching score on a wild pitch.

Alyssa Denham (5-2) took the loss, giving up five runs β€” two earned β€” on eight hits in 4Βͺ innings.

In the second game, Oregon earned another mercy-rule victory by scoring six times in the bottom of the sixth. The game ended on Mary Iakopo’s three-run homer.

Taylor McQuillin (18-6) took the loss, allowing seven earned runs on nine hits in 5Βͺ innings.

The UA was held to a combined four hits in the games. Oregon outscored the Wildcats 23-2 in the three-game sweep.

Arizona gets to return home next weekend, but has to face No. 3 UCLA for three games. The opener is at 7:30 p.m. Friday night on ESPNU.
