For the second time in as many days, the Arizona Wildcats' softball game has been washed out.
Friday's scheduled Hillenbrand Invitational doubleheader was called due to rain at 4 p.m. The invitational schedule will play on as scheduled Saturday, and the UA will play an additional game on Sunday afternoon. The new schedule looks like this:
SATURDAY'S GAMES
• Bryant vs. Troy, 9 a.m.
• Bryant vs. Colorado State, 11 a.m.
• Troy vs. Colorado State, 1 p.m.
• Montana vs. Louisiana- Monroe, 3 p.m.
• Louisiana-Monroe at No. 12 Arizona, 5 p.m.
• Montana at No. 12 Arizona, 7 p.m.
SUNDAY'S GAMES
• Montana vs. Troy, 9 a.m..
• Colorado State vs. Louisiana-Monroe, 11 a.m.
• Colorado State at No. 12 Arizona, 1 p.m.
• Bryant at No. 12 Arizona, 3 p.m.
Meanwhile, the UA baseball team's season opener against Bryant has been postponed until Saturday. The Wildcats will play a doubleheader starting at 2 p.m. The UA initially tried to postpone Friday's game until 8 p.m., but made the decision to push the game to Saturday after rain continued to fall.
