- Notable: Missed all of 2012-13 for the Suns because of dilated cardiomyopathy that caused an enlarged heart. Played down low for the Cats and ended up with 258 blocked shots, the second-most in Arizona and Pac-12 history. Was a good free-throw shooter for a big man in college (75.9 percent) but blossomed into a three-point bomber once he joined Suns (43.9% in 2009-10, 39% in 2010-11, 34.6% in 2011-12).

Also an excellent free throw shooter, Stoudamire made 87% of his career shots and twice topped 90% (90.4% in 2001-02, 91% in 2004-05). Holds school record for most consecutive made free throws, 39. Currently plays for Guaros de Lara in Venezuela with Hassan Adams.

Gilbert Arenas β’ G
- Drafted: 2001, 2nd round, No. 31 overall by the Golden State Warriors
- Teams:Β Golden State (2001-03), Washington (2003-10), Orlando (2010-11), Memphis (2012)
- Notable: Despite next to no recruitment from other schools, Arenas showed he was a star in the making from Day 1 at Arizona. He averaged 15.4 points per game his freshman season and 16.2 per game his sophomore season before leaving for the NBA. After a mediocre rookie season in Golden State, he took off, averaging 18.3, 19.6, 25.5, 29.3 and 28.4 points per game in his next five seasons. He became a superstar known for his clutch play and ability to score at will with a lightning first step and creative finishes at the basket. He scored 60 points in a game (most ever by a former Cat) against the Lakers in 2006-07, and went off again later that season with a 54-point game against the Suns. A knee injury at the end of the 2007 season, however, was the beginning of Arenas' downfall, as he never appeared to regain the quickness and explosion that pushed him into MVP consideration. Then, in early 2010, he was suspended for the rest of the season after an incident involving guns in the Washington Wizards locker room. He bounced around for two more seasons before signing with a Chinese team, the Shanghai Sharks, where he still plays.Β

- Teams: Decided to go overseas instead of joining Knicks and never played in NBA
- Notable: Played with Kevin Garnett at noted basketball prep school Farragut Academy in Chicago. Undersized big man (6-7) was an All-Pac-10 first-teamer in 1999-2000 and 2000-01. Made third-team AP All-America team in 2001. Averaged 15.1 points and 8.4 rebounds per game in three years at Arizona (never averaged fewer than 13.9 points or 7.8 rebounds in those years). Currently plays in Turkey, where he has dual US-Turkish citizenship and goes by his Turkish name, Ali Karedeniz.

The 7-1 Woods holds Arizona's single-season blocked shots record (102 in 1999-2000) and tied an NCAA record with 14 blocks in a game in the same season. Currently plays pro basketball in Lebanon with Ai Riyadi Beirut.

Was named Sports Illustrated's National Player of the Year. Won NBA Sixth Man of the Year award in 2009 and was a key cog on Dallas's NBA-title-winning team in 2011. He has said he wants to coach at the UA when he retires from the NBA. Currently fourth all-time in made three-pointers in NBA history (1,911).

One of only four players to have his jersey retired (along with Jason Gardner, Steve Kerr and Sean Elliott). - Notable: His highly decorated NCAA career features some of Arizona basketball's most impressive feats. He has one of the school's 9 total triple-doubles. He scored 45 points against Stanford in 1995, second only to Ernie McCray's 46 in 1960, and is the only Wildcat to top 40 points twice in a game in his career. Is third all-time in made three-pointers (272), sixth in points (1,849), third in assists (663) and eighth in steals (174). Is one of two Cats to score 600 or more points in a single season (along with Michael Dickerson). Was a consensus All-American in 1994-95, a three-time All-Pac-10 first-teamer and the 1995 Pac-10 co-Player of the Year along with UCLA's Ed O'Bannon. Was twice a team captain. In the NBA, he once scored 54 points in game for the Portland Trail Blazers, still a team record. He is currently an assistant coach under Sean Miller.

- Notable: New York City guard holds Arizona record for most points scored (848), average points scored per game (24.2), field goals made (276) and field goals attempted in a single season, all in 1993-94. He was a team captain, a first-team John Wooden All-American and first-team All-Pac-10 in that season. Is one of six players in UA history to score more than 40 points in one game. Sits fifth on the career scoring list at the UA (1,925) and sixth in steals (187). Averaged 7.8 points per game in his NBA career from 1994-2000.

- Notable: One of the greatest shooters of a basketball at any level in the history of the sport. Kerr doesn't technically qualify for the leader board for career percentage in the NCAA since he only played one season for Arizona after the three-point line was introduced, but he made 114 of 199 attempts in 1987-88, 57.3 percent and an NCAA record. Kerr is eighth in Arizona history with an 81.5 percent mark from the free throw line. He is 19th in scoring with 1,445 points. Kerr is one of four to have his jersey (25) retired at the UA. After his storied career at Arizona, Kerr played for 15 years in the NBA. He won five NBA championships (three with the Chicago Bulls in 1996-98 and two with the San Antonio Spurs in 1999 and 2003). Hit the NBA Finals-winning shot in Game 6 against the Utah Jazz in 1997 off a pass from Michael Jordan. In his last championship season, he came off the bench in Game 6 of the Western Conference Finals against Dallas after playing only 13 minutes for the Spurs during the entire postseason. The Spurs were trailing by 15 and struggling to make shots, and Kerr came in and hit four three pointers in a 23-0 fourth quarter run to help send his team to the Finals. He finished his career as the most prolific three-point shooter in NBA history with a 45.4 percent mark that still stands.

- Notable: Despite next to no recruitment from other schools, Arenas showed he was a star in the making from Day 1 at Arizona. He averaged 15.4 points per game his freshman season and 16.2 per game his sophomore season before leaving for the NBA. After a mediocre rookie season in Golden State, he took off, averaging 18.3, 19.6, 25.5, 29.3 and 28.4 points per game in his next five seasons. He became a superstar known for his clutch play and ability to score at will with a lightning first step and creative finishes at the basket. He scored 60 points in a game (most ever by a former Cat) against the Lakers in 2006-07, and went off again later that season with a 54-point game against the Suns. A knee injury at the end of the 2007 season, however, was the beginning of Arenas' downfall, as he never appeared to regain the quickness and explosion that pushed him into MVP consideration. Then, in early 2010, he was suspended for the rest of the season after an incident involving guns in the Washington Wizards locker room. He bounced around for two more seasons before signing with a Chinese team, the Shanghai Sharks, where he still plays.Β

He currently is the head coach of the Yokohama B-Corsairs in Japan.Β

- Notable: His highly decorated NCAA career features some of Arizona basketball's most impressive feats. He has one of the school's 9 total triple-doubles. He scored 45 points against Stanford in 1995, second only to Ernie McCray's 46 in 1960, and is the only Wildcat to top 40 points twice in a game in his career. Is third all-time in made three-pointers (272), sixth in points (1,849), third in assists (663) and eighth in steals (174). Is one of two Cats to score 600 or more points in a single season (along with Michael Dickerson). Was a consensus All-American in 1994-95, a three-time All-Pac-10 first-teamer and the 1995 Pac-10 co-Player of the Year along with UCLA's Ed O'Bannon. Was twice a team captain. In the NBA, he once scored 54 points in game for the Portland Trail Blazers, still a team record. He is currently an assistant coach under Sean Miller.

- Notable: New York City guard holds Arizona record for most points scored (848), average points scored per game (24.2), field goals made (276) and field goals attempted in a single season, all in 1993-94. He was a team captain, a first-team John Wooden All-American and first-team All-Pac-10 in that season. Is one of six players in UA history to score more than 40 points in one game. Sits fifth on the career scoring list at the UA (1,925) and sixth in steals (187). Averaged 7.8 points per game in his NBA career from 1994-2000.

Named twice an honorable mention All-American and made one second-team All-America and four third-teams. 1992-93 Pac-10 Player of the Year and two time All-Pac-10 performer. Averaged 11.2 points per game in 10 NBA seasons, including a high of 15.1 points per game with Cleveland in 1995-96.

- Notable: Born and raised in Tucson and a graduate of Cholla High School, Sean Elliott helped Lute Olson and Arizona set a high bar for an incredible run of success through the world of NCAA basketball since he enrolled at the UA in 1985. Elliott is Arizona's career scoring leader with 2,555 points and is the UA's career leader in free throws made (623) and attempted (786). Only player in UA history to score more than 700 points in a season more than once (1987-88 and 1988-89). One of four Cats with a retired jersey (No. 32). Two-time consensus All-American in 1987-88 and 1988-89. Is Arizona's only Wooden Award winner as the NCAA's best player (1988-89). Won the Pac-10 Player of the Year award in 1987-88 and 1988-89. Is a three-time All-Pac-10 player in those years and also in 1986-87. Was Pac-10 Freshman of the Year in 1985-86. In the NBA, played for the San Antonio Spurs for 11 of his 12 seasons. Was named to the NBA All-Rookie First Team in 1990. Was a two-time NBA All-Star (1993, 1996). Won an NBA title with San Antonio in 1999. Had a kidney transplant in 1999 and became the first NBA player to return to action after such a procedure. His No. 32 jersey was also retired in San Antonio, where he currently works as a color commentator for local Spurs' broadcasting.Β

Was co-team captain with Sean Elliott in 1988-89.

- Teams: Phoenix (1988-89), Cleveland (1989-92), Orlando (1992-93), Chicago (1993-98), San Antonio (1999-2001), Portland (2001-02), San Antonio (2002-03)
- Notable: One of the greatest shooters of a basketball at any level in the history of the sport. Kerr doesn't technically qualify for the leader board for career percentage in the NCAA since he only played one season for Arizona after the three-point line was introduced, but he made 114 of 199 attempts in 1987-88, 57.3 percent and an NCAA record. Kerr is eighth in Arizona history with an 81.5 percent mark from the free throw line. He is 19th in scoring with 1,445 points. Kerr is one of four to have his jersey (25) retired at the UA. After his storied career at Arizona, Kerr played for 15 years in the NBA. He won five NBA championships (three with the Chicago Bulls in 1996-98 and two with the San Antonio Spurs in 1999 and 2003). Hit the NBA Finals-winning shot in Game 6 against the Utah Jazz in 1997 off a pass from Michael Jordan. In his last championship season, he came off the bench in Game 6 of the Western Conference Finals against Dallas after playing only 13 minutes for the Spurs during the entire postseason. The Spurs were trailing by 15 and struggling to make shots, and Kerr came in and hit four three pointers in a 23-0 fourth quarter run to help send his team to the Finals. He finished his career as the most prolific three-point shooter in NBA history with a 45.4 percent mark that still stands.
