The last couple of days have certainly been quite stressful for Arizona fans.
Friday, Rich Rodriguez interviewed with South Carolina for their head coach position. More on that here. It was believed that Rodriguez was one of two finalists for the job, along with former Florida coach, and Auburn assistant, Will Muschamp.
This isn't the first time Rodriguez has been rumored for other coaching positions — Louisville had rumored interest last year, and for weeks Rodriguez was viewed as a potential replacement for Frank Beamer at Virginia Tech — but this, based on reports, is the closest he ever came to actually leaving.
So how do the fans feel about the whole process?
We posed the question on Twitter, and the responses have been pouring in.
The verdict (so far)? Fans seem to just be happy that this process is over and done with.
Our favorite so far:
@ZackBlatt I'm really glad cause I still get to exist

Also, former UA quarterback B.J. Denker chimed in. If Rodriguez had left, Rodriguez and Denker would've been in the same conference again — Denker is a graduate assistant coach at Texas A&M.
So happy to hear that Coach Rod and the whole staff is staying in Tucson! Best win of the season!

Here's the rest.

@ZackBlatt it's been a while since someone has wanted our "ol' ball coach". It's a good thing when people want what you have.
— Brian Sullivan (@K5Sully) December 6, 2015
@ZackBlatt I was fairly confident he would stay. He is the right coach @ the rite time. Once he keeps us n the upper echelon he'll move on.

@ZackBlatt a man is defined by his options. Hes good and others know it. To have an offer and turn it down is an encouraging sign to me.

@ZackBlatt close on a strong recruiting class and all will be forgotten by the start of next year. Glad he's back. Stability is necessary
— Brad Rankin (@BearDown_Brad) December 6, 2015
@ZackBlatt Win over Zags + Keeping RichRod on same day reminds me of day in '12 when we won NM Bowl early and beat Florida late.
— Chris Halligan (@chrishalligan) December 6, 2015
@ZackBlatt thought he would only leave for a real top flight job. Surprised South Carolina got so close.
— Andrew Haywood (@Andys_Parties) December 6, 2015
@ZackBlatt As long as this isn't a yearly saga, I'm glad RR looked around and reaffirmed his commitment to UofA!

— Stuart Kratz (@StuartKratz) December 6, 2015
