Rich Rodriguez through the years

Arizona head coach Rich Rodriguez gets riled up at his offense during a series late in the fourth quarter of their game agaist UTSA at Arizona Stadium, Thursday, Sept. 3, 2015, Tucson, Ariz. Kelly Presnell / Arizona Daily Star

The last couple of days have certainly been quite stressful for Arizona fans.

Friday, Rich Rodriguez interviewed with South Carolina for their head coach position. More on that here. It was believed that Rodriguez was one of two finalists for the job, along with former Florida coach, and Auburn assistant, Will Muschamp.

This isn't the first time Rodriguez has been rumored for other coaching positions — Louisville had rumored interest last year, and for weeks Rodriguez was viewed as a potential replacement for Frank Beamer at Virginia Tech — but this, based on reports, is the closest he ever came to actually leaving.

So how do the fans feel about the whole process?

We posed the question on Twitter, and the responses have been pouring in.

The verdict (so far)? Fans seem to just be happy that this process is over and done with.

Our favorite so far:

Also, former UA quarterback B.J. Denker chimed in. If Rodriguez had left, Rodriguez and Denker would've been in the same conference again — Denker is a graduate assistant coach at Texas A&M.

Here's the rest.

Will update as more come in.
