The No. 21-ranked Pima College baseball team is off to a 4-0 start after sweeping the College of Southern Idaho in its season-opening series.
Sunday, the Aztecs trailed by a run in the sixth inning before scoring the final four runs to win 6-3. Leon Cereceres was 3 for 5 and scored twice for the Aztecs, while Jesse Neretlis earned the win in relief as he pitched four innings and struck out seven.

The Aztecs swept the doubleheader Friday, winning 5-2 and 6-0, and then held off the Golden Eagles 2-1 on Saturday.
Jackson Glueck was a combined 3 for 5 with three runs and three RBIs in Friday's doubleheader. Cam Grenert earned the win Saturday, tossing five scoreless innings and striking out six.
Pima next hosts Yavapai for a three-game series, with a single game Friday and a doubleheader Saturday.
Softball
No. 6 Pima opened its season with a 6-3 win over Yavapai College at the Stacy Iveson Invitational on Saturday.
Clarissa Figueroa drove in two runs, and Belen Chamacho earned the win, allowing two earned runs and striking out six in seven innings.
Pima opens ACCAC play with a doubleheader against Mesa CC starting at noon Tuesday.
Men's basketball
Pima rallied in the second half, and then stopped visiting South Mountain CC as time expired to stay perfect with a 51-50 victory Saturday.
The No. 5 Aztecs (21-0, 10-0) trailed 32-23 at halftime but rallied to take a 43-42 lead. Pima later led by one as the final shot fell short for the Cougars (17-4, 7-3).
Pima's Isaac Johnson was 10 for 11 from the field and scored 23 points to go with 13 rebounds. Mason Hunt scored 14 of his 18 points in the second half.
In last week's first game on Wednesday, Pima topped host Chandler-Gilbert 69-54 as Isaiah Hill scored 20 points and Will Feagles added 19.
Pima will next be at Glendale CC at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Women's basketball
The Aztecs took control early and dominated South Mountain CC 109-27 on Saturday to improve to 16-4 overall and 8-2 in the ACCAC.
No. 12 Pima led 22-2 after the first quarter and 48-9 at halftime.
Kiley Sours-Miller hit 14 of 19 shots and finished with 30 points, 13 rebounds and four steals. Lucy Land hit 9 of 10 shots and finished with 18 points.
Last Wednesday, Sours-Miller had 25 points as the Aztecs held off host Chandler-Gilbert 70-68 in overtime. The Aztecs took control in the extra period, outscoring the Coyotes 13-8 before Chandler-Gilbert hit a 3-pointer at the buzzer to make the final deficit just two.
The Aztecs play at Glendale CC at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.
