Arizona baseball’s “Meet the Team” scrimmage scheduled for Saturday afternoon at Hi Corbett Field was canceled because of inclement weather, and the accompanying autograph session has been rescheduled.

The autograph signing is now slated for Sunday, Feb. 22, following Arizona's 1 p.m. home game vs. UConn.

One of the afternoon’s rainbows paints the sky behind the Arizona flags flying along the Hi Corbett stands as the rain moves out in time for the first pitch of the Wildcats’ series opener against Arizona State, March 15, 2024.

Arizona’s home opener is Feb. 17 vs. Nebraska Omaha. The Wildcats host the Huskies Feb. 19-22.

Arizona, coming off a College World Series appearance, opens the 2026 season on Feb. 13 in the College Baseball Series in Surprise. The UA faces Stanford at 6 p.m. at Surprise Stadium.

The Wildcats are ranked 24th in D1Baseball’s preseason Top 25.

D1 named senior closer Tony Pluta a preseason first-team All-American.
