The Pima College women's basketball team pitched an overtime shutout Saturday, outscoring visiting Phoenix College 9-0 in the extra period to win 74-65.
The No. 12-ranked Aztecs (14-4, 6-2 ACCAC) forced four straight turnovers in overtime and held the Bears to 0-of-6 shooting.
With Phoenix up 65-62,Β Melicia Nelson converted a three-point play with 1:36 left in regulation to tie the game.
The Aztecs led 34-25 at halftime and 49-43 after three quarters before Phoenix rallied.

Kiley Sours-Miller scored aΒ team-high 20 points for the Aztecs, whileΒ Reigne Waugh had 12 points and 10 rebounds.
Nelson had 11 rebounds, nine points, nine assists and four blocks.Β Ahdiayh Chee hit all three 3-pointers she took and scored 11 points.
Wednesday, the Aztecs beat No. 23 Scottsdale CC 72-55 at home behind 19 points and 10 rebounds from Sours. Waugh also had a double-double with 13 rebounds and 10 points. Pima led just 49-44 in the third quarter before taking control of the game with a 10-0 run.
Pima, which has played its last six games at home, visits Chandler-Gilbert at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Men's basketball
It was business as usual Saturday for the No. 7 Pima men, who blasted visiting Phoenix College 120-70 to improve to 19-0 overall and 8-0 in the ACCAC.
The Aztecs scored at least 100 points for the 13th time this year. They built a 63-19 halftime lead and then scored 57 more points in the second half.
Pima jumped on top 13-0 and added an 11-0 run to make it 24-2. It also had runs in the first half of 13-0 and 9-0.
Isaac Johnson was 10 for 13 from the field with a team-high 23 points and 11 rebounds. He also notched five steals.Β Brock Mendoza had his 11th double-double of the season with 21 points and 10 rebounds.
The Aztecs shot 55.8% from the field and 51.5% (17 of 33) from 3-point range.
In the team's first game of the week on Wednesday, Pima routed visiting Scottsdale CC 89-46 behind 17 points from Isaiah Hill.
Will Feagles added 15 points for Pima, which led 14-0 to start the game and then 50-25 at halftime.
The Aztecs will play at Chandler-Gilbert at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.
