Kiley Sours-Miller hit a scoring milestone as the No. 12-ranked Pima College women's basketball team topped No. 11 Mesa on the road 76-69 on Saturday to take over first place in the ACCAC.
The Aztecs (18-4, 10-2) have won six straight and nine of 10.
Sours-Miller had 25 points to go over 1,000 in her career, and now sits at 1,015. She added 10 rebounds in the win.
Melicia Nelson had a triple-double with 16 points, 12 rebounds and 11 assists, to go with five steals.

The Thunderbirds took a 52-50 lead in the first minute of the fourth quarter before Pima responded with a 15-1 spurt. Mesa answered with a 13-3 run to cut the lead to 68-66, but Sours-Miller hit an inside basket to make it 70-66 with 1:23 left in the game.
Sours-Miller had 18 points and 17 rebounds in an 89-49 win at Glendale CC last Wednesday. Pima led just 48-39 in the third quarter before ending the game on a 41-10 run.
Pima will play its third straight road game Saturday when it visits Scottsdale CC at 2 p.m.
Men's basketball
Isaiah Hill had 24 points as No. 5 Pima improved to 23-0 with a 92-71 win at Mesa CC on Saturday.
Isaac Johnson was 7 for 7 from the field and finished with 16 points and five rebounds for the Aztecs, who are 12-0 in conference play.
Brock Mendoza added 13 points and nine rebounds for Pima, which shot 48.5% from the field. The Aztecs led 46-33 at halftime.
Last Wednesday, Pima won at Glendale CC 83-71 as Hill had 22 points, eight rebounds and eight assists. Pima led 38-32 at halftime but fell behind 49-47 with 12:26 left. But the Aztecs answered with a 14-0 run to go up 61-49.
Pima hosts Community Christian College at 6 p.m. Wednesday.
Softball
Pima swept host El Paso CC in a four-game series over the weekend, winning 11-3 and 7-5 on Friday and then 14-2 and 13-4 on Saturday.
During Saturday's doubleheader sweep, Clarissa Figueroa had three hits, five RBIs and three runs, while Julissa Lopez had four hits and four RBIs.
No. 6 Pima (5-0) opens conference play when it hosts Mesa CC for a doubleheader at noon Tuesday.
Other sports
— The Pima baseball team (6-1) split a doubleheader with visiting Yavapai on Saturday, losing 4-3 and winning 7-2. The Aztecs won the opener of the three-game series 12-2 on Friday. Pima is next in action for a nonconference doubleheader against Cochise College at noon Tuesday.
— Elizabeth Ugwu broke a 44-year school record in the shot put at the CAC Invitational in Coolidge on Saturday, with a throw of 43 feet, 1 inch. The previous mark was set by Becky Levi in 1982 at 43-0. The No. 15 Aztecs will next compete at the GCC Indoor Multi's and the GCC Invitational in Glendale on Saturday.
— Taylor Brown broke his own school record in the 200 meters, taking third place in 20.98 seconds at the CAC Invitational. The No. 8 Aztecs will next compete at the GCC Indoor Multi's and the GCC Invitational in Glendale on Saturday.
