Arizona quarterback Noah Fifita received an invitation to the Manning Passing Academy, an annual camp that features the top quarterbacks, running backs, tight ends and wide receivers.

The 29th Manning Passing Academy is from June 26-29 at Nicholls State University in Louisiana, the home state of the Manning family — former NFL quarterbacks Peyton Manning, Eli Manning and Archie Manning.

Fifita is the fourth Arizona quarterback to participate in the Manning Passing Academy, joining Nick Foles, Khalil Tate and Jayden de Laura. Arizona offensive coordinator Seth Doege participated in the Manning Passing Academy at Texas Tech.

Other quarterbacks to participate in the Manning Passing Academy this year include Arch Manning (Texas), Drew Allar (Penn State), Gunner Stockton (Georgia), Garrett Nussmeier (LSU), Cade Klubnik (Clemson), Sam Leavitt (Arizona State), Avery Johnson (Kansas State), John Mateer (Oklahoma) and Demond Williams (Washington), who signed with Arizona in 2024 before following former Arizona head coach Jedd Fisch to UW.

A year after Fifita became the Pac-12 Offensive Freshman of the Year and Football Writers Association of America Freshman of the Year in 2023, Fifita’s touchdown-to-interception ratio dropped from 23:5 to 18:12 last season.

Fifita is the only Wildcat in school history to have a completion rate (73.6%) higher than 70%, which he set in ‘23; his completion rate dropped to 60.5% last season. Fifita also had the most throwaways (37) in college football this season, according to Pro Football Focus.

Fifita, who changed his jersey number from 11 to 1, enters 2025 eighth in program history with 5,955 yards — seventh with 44 touchdowns.

Fifita owns Arizona’s single-game record for passing yards (527), a record he set against ASU in 2023.

Arizona kicks off the season against Hawaii on Saturday, Aug. 30, at 7:30 p.m. on TNT and HBO Max.
