Sophomore guard Keven Biggs moves in for a hug from head coach Brian Peabody at a congratulatory rally for the Pima Aztecs basketball team that finished second in the national NJCAA Division II Tournament in March 2018.

Pima College basketball player Keven Biggs is an All-American.

The NJCAA named Biggs, a sophomore guard, to its All-America second team on Tuesday. The Cienega High School product is just the sixth player in Aztecs history to earn such an honor, and the third in the last four years. Deion James was a first-teamer a year ago, and Murphy Gershman earned second-team honors in 2015. Before Gershman, the Aztecs' last All-American was Darrell King, who earned the honors in 1991.

Biggs started in 30 games this season, averaging a team-high 17 points as well as 5.8 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 1.4 steals and one block per game.

Biggs led the Aztecs to the NJCAA Division II tournament, where they finished second.
