Major League Baseball spring training begins in less than four weeks in Arizona and Florida, the dawn of the 2026 season approaching fast.
Reporting dates vary by team, with Cactus League squads in Arizona holding the first workouts for pitchers and catchers Feb. 10-12. Position players are required to report to their respective clubs a few days later, but typically, position players are in camp before the mandatory deadline.

The Arizona Diamondbacks' pitchers and catchers will convene on Tuesday, Feb. 10, at Salt River Fields at Talking Stick in Scottsdale. That's a few days earlier than normal because it's a World Baseball Classic year, and players taking part will leave their respective teams to report to WBC team training sites and the tournament itself in March.
The Diamondbacks will be without star outfielder Corbin Carroll for most of March, as Carroll will play for Team USA in the WBC. Other Diamondbacks players and coaches will also be away.
When and where to see the Diamondbacks
Diamondbacks workouts are open to the public at Salt River Fields from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., with the first full-squad workout set for Sunday, Feb. 15, at 9 a.m. Fans can park in the Desert Lot on the north side of the complex, which is best reached via 90th Street off Via de Ventura. The Diamondbacks' 2026 32-game spring training schedule begins on Feb. 20 and 21 with consecutive games at Salt River Fields against their complex mates, the Colorado Rockies. Colorado is the home team on Friday, Feb. 20, and the Diamondbacks are the hosts on Saturday, Feb. 21, at 1:10 p.m.
Arizona hosts the back-to-back World Series champion Los Angeles Dodgers on Wednesday, Feb. 25, at 1:10 p.m., and Mexico's WBC team will face the Diamondbacks on Tuesday, March 3.
The Diamondbacks will wrap up spring training at Chase Field with exhibition games against the Cleveland Guardians on March 23 (6:40 p.m.) and March 24 (12:40 p.m.). The Diamondbacks' regular season begins March 26 at Dodger Stadium.
