Photos: Tucson Roadrunners give away merch to fans outside Reid Park Zoo

The Tucson Roadrunners hosted a drive-thru giveaway event for fans in the parking lot of Reid Park Zoo, on July 31, 2020.
The event ran from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. Friday morning partnering with organizations including the Reid Park Zoo and the City of Tucson. The local hockey team had 500 sets of hockey sticks and balls to give to children between the ages of 4 and 12-years-old.
The zoo and city also handed out gifts of their own including reusable water bottles, coloring books, pencils and flower seeds.
The event was held in celebration of the Arizona Coyotes opening their playoff series with Nashville on Sunday.
