According to ESPN's list of college basketball's top 100 men's players for 2025-26, the Big 12 is No. 1 in elite talent.

Nineteen of the Top 100 are Big 12 players. Here's the list:

BYU forward AJ Dybantsa (3) shoots the ball during the first half of an exhibition game against North Carolina, Oct. 24, 2025, in Salt Lake City, Utah.

2. AJ Dybantsa, BYU

3. JT Toppin, Texas Tech

4. Darryn Peterson, Kansas

11. P.J. Haggerty, Kansas State

17. Joseph Tugler, Houston

21. Milos Uzan, Houston

23. Richie Saunders, BYU

35. Tamin Lipsey, Iowa State

36. Joshua Jefferson, Iowa State

40. Emanuel Sharp, Houston

47. Koa Peat, Arizona

48. Chris Cenac Jr., Houston

51. Flory Bidunga, Kansas

52. Robert Wright, BYU

60. Jaden Bradley, Arizona

64. Christian Anderson, Texas Tech

65. Milan Momcilovic, Iowa State

72. LeJuan Watts, Texas Tech

85. Tounde Yessoufou, Baylor

North Carolina center Henri Veesaar (13) drives to the basket guarded by BYU center Keba Keita (13) during the second half of an exhibition game, Oct. 24, 2025, in Salt Lake City, Utah.

If there's any controversy, it could be that two former Arizona guards — KJ Lewis, now of Georgetown, and Kylan Boswell, now of Indiana — made the Top 100. Neither hinted of that high calling while playing at Arizona. The one ex-Wildcat in the Top 100 to seemingly deserve the ranking is No. 58, center Henri Veesaar of North Carolina. In UNC's practice game loss to BYU last week, Veesaar scored 14 points and had eight rebounds in 34 minutes. He is the real deal.
