Lesson on farm to table
The Tucson Village Farm is offering two more farm-to-table cooking classes and you'll learn how to turn your garden goods to a healthy meal. This Friday you will learn how to make potato guacamole, burritos with sweet potato, kale and jackfruit, and flaxseed dessert balls. Check out more details here.

Celebrate heroes
The 3rd Annual Hats Off to Heroes Tribute to Americaâs Veterans is this weekend. There will be a 5K run (sign up here) to start the festivities off, food trucks, live music, special guests and fireworks and it's free.

Adopt a new friend
Adopt a rescue pet, eat from food trucks, speak with community vendors, and do kid-friendly activities. Pets will be spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and all adoption fees are waived.
