Valley of the Moon, Tucson's own storybook land, just announced its summer show — Peter Pan.

If you're not familiar, Valley of the Moon's volunteer cast takes classic stories and turns them into 45-minute walking adventures through the windy paths and caves of its midtown property. You'll stop at different spots along the way to see different parts of the story acted out by cast members, ranging in age from 8 to 58.

In this summer's production, you'll explore Neverland and meet Peter Pan, Tinkerbell, Wendy, the Lost Boys and Captain James Hook.

One of the best things about Valley of the Moon is it's affordable for the whole family. Members and children under age 7 can see the show for free. Everyone else pays a $5 donation.

However, if you can't pay, you won't be turned away. That's how its founder, George Phar Legler, wanted it. He felt that kindness is the key to happiness.

Peter Pan runs every 30 minutes from 6 to 8:30 p.m. July 8, 9, 10, 15, 16 and 17.

Valley of the Moon is located at 2544 E. Allen Road. Click here to visit online.
