The Fourth Avenue Spring Street Fair in Tucson, Ariz. on March 24, 2023. The fair, in its 54th year, is produced by the North Fourth Avenue Merchants Association, Inc., a local nonprofit. Hundreds of artists sell their work and is a bi-annual event.

Shop your heart out when the 55th Fourth Avenue Spring Street Fair returns this weekend. 

The biannual festival kicks off at 10 a.m. Friday, March 22 and runs through Sunday, March 24. The fair is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday and until 5 p.m. on Sunday.

This year’s street fair features hundreds of vendors including local creatives Turtle’s Soup, Chez Peachy, Pure Poetry Cosmetics and Zinnia Sky Studio.

If you’re looking for even more local vendors, check out The Solar Lot in the Sky Bar parking lot where you’ll find Melrose Macrame, Ducky’s Pineapple Banana Bread, Las Changuis Tianguis, Coy Creative, Wolf Den Soaps and more.

Of course, it wouldn't be the street fair without endless food and treats from pop-up vendors like Herculean Chicken, Churros El Rey and PopHeads. Plus, check out the many restaurants and eateries along the avenue.

In addition to art and food vendors, there are entertainment stages located at East Seventh Street and North Hoff Avenue and East Fifth Street and North Hoff Avenue

Live entertainment includes performances from Sophia Rankin and The Sound, School of Rock and an acoustic set from a Beatles tribute band.

Something new this year is the street fair’s coloring contest. Participants can choose from three coloring pages on the Fourth Avenue Street Fair’s website, print and color the sheet and turn it in at the Haggerty Plaza during the event.

The Fourth Avenue Street Fair attracts more than 300,000 people every year, so plan your trip accordingly. 

The Fourth Avenue Merchants Association recommends parking at the Pennington Street Garage, Tyndall Avenue Garage or Plaza Centro Garage. If you park at the Tyndall Avenue Garage, you can easily hop on the free streetcar that will take you near the event.

There will also be a free shuttle that runs from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and until 4:30 p.m. on Sunday at the northwest corner of East Pennington Street and East Sixth Avenue and the southeast corner of North Fifth Avenue and East Seventh Street. The shuttle runs every 15 minutes.
