World Margarita Championship

Twenty-five Tucson restaurants and their chefs and mixologists are competing in the 17th annual World Margarita Championship on Friday, including La Botana, which was among last year’s competitors.

Even with an excessive heat warning in place, Tucson isn't taking a break.

The agenda for this weekend includes Tucson's Juneteenth Festival, free outdoor movies, a fairy festival surrounded by blooming lavender, a margarita championship, an outdoor roller disco and a late-night event at the Pima Air & Space Museum. Oh, and we're hosting a monsoon-themed market featuring 30ish vendors! 😉

Of course, things can change quickly these days. Check for the latest info before heading out!
