Arizona guard Rawle Alkins (1) opts for the dish after running up against Missouri forward Russell Woods (25) on his drive in the first half of their game at Mizzou Arena, Saturday, Dec. 10, 2016, Columbia, Mo. Kelly Presnell / Arizona Daily Star

But while Trier wasn’t able to show his usual support on the sidelines, he did so digitally.

And with the Wildcats making 13 of 24 3-pointers Saturday, that was easy to do.

“SNIPE HEEEEEEEM RAWLEEEEEEE!!!!!!” Trier tweeted after Rawle Alkins stuck a second-half 3.

After one from Kobi Simmons, it was: “Kobi !!!!!!!!!! SNIPE HEEM"

And after Kadeem Allen did it: “SNIPE HEEEEEEM DEEM!!!!!!!"

When the Star told Alkins after the game that Trier excitedly tweeted over one of his threes, the freshman guard grinned widely.

“Really? He said that?” Alkins said. “I’ll check it out later on tonight. That’s my man. Allonzo’s a beast.”
