Baum’s Sporting Goods has moved its northwest store across the street at the intersection of Oracle and Orange Grove roads.

The homegrown company leased 1,198 square feet at 6429 N. Oracle Road, in Orange Grove Village.

Baum’s was founded in 1984 by Fred Baum and Dale Shawler in a central Tucson shop. There are now two stores in Tucson and one in Tempe. The second local store is at 2845 E. Speedway.

Baum’s specializes in uniforms and equipment for all team sports with a large part of the business servicing baseball and softball organizations. The stores also offer embroidery, laser engraving and silk screen printing.

The new northwest store opened earlier this month.

Craig Finfrock, of Commercial Retail Advisors LLC, represented the landlord, Orange Grove Village LLC, and Baum’s was represented by Tim DeNiro, of Commercial Real Estate Group of Tucson.
