There are plenty of places to take your pup in Tucson that don't include a park. Because your four-legged BFF deserves a night out on the town, too.

Go book shopping, brunch, or hang out with your dog at any of these five places.Β

Bookmans

All three Tucson locations: Speedway, Grant and Ina

Hours: Open daily from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Start a book club but let your dog pick the book. All three Bookmans locations let you bring your pup as long as they are on a leash. Even if you don't have a dog, you'll most likely meet one at Bookmans with all the dog events they have. There's also free wifi and air conditioning for hanging out.

Sky Bar

536 N. 4th Ave.

Hours: Open daily fromΒ 9 to 2 a.m.

Take your dog for a drink and immediately become the coolest kid at the bar. Sky Bar lets you bring your well-behaved dog with you for drinks, star gazing, studying or lunch. Check out their food and drink menu here.

Tucson Hop Shop

3230 N. Dodge Blvd.

Hours: Monday through Thursday, 2 to 9 p.m., Friday and Saturday, noon to 11 p.m. and Sunday, noon to 8 p.m.

Enjoy a beer with friends and your pup on the patio. Tucson Hop Shop welcomes well behaved four-legged friends, they just ask that you keep them on a leash. Tucson Hop Shop always has something going on, they're always inviting food trucks, their tap list is pretty great and the scene is relaxing. Go after work, after a bike ride or whenever you have a free evening.

MuttsΒ Premium Hot Dogs and Sausages

806 E. University Blvd.

Hours: Weekdays, 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and weekends, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

This hidden gem is located in Geronimo Plaza by Starbucks on University Boulevard. Skip the Starbucks trip and eat some breakfast or a hot dog on their patio with your dog. Mutts has vegetarian breakfast burritos, crepes and other options for breakfast and long list ofΒ hot dogs and sausage mealsΒ for lunch.Β Nothing sounds better than that.Β

Stray Dogs

78 W. River Rd.

Hours: Open daily fromΒ 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

What's better than bringing your dog to brunch? Bringing your dog to brunch and drinking bottomless mimosas. Brunch at Stray Dogs is every weekend from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. with $12.95 bottomless mimosas. Or try one of their ridiculous loaded milkshakes (check out their food and drink menu here). Stray Dogs even has a play area for your pooch, perfect for making other dog friends.
