At Dusk Music Festival, you could watch Kim from Matt and Kim bang her drums with a dildo, eat beef kimchi burritos from Commoner & Co. and feel students gyrate around you. This festival definitely had a little something for everyone.

While the sun was shining
Luna Aura, Gaby Moreno, Wild Belle and Calexico performed while the sun was still out. The weather was perfect, there were clouds and a nice breeze. Festival goers could stand right up against the stage to listen to Gaby Moreno strum her guitar and Wild Belle fans could sit anywhere and still have a clear view of the show. Children were running around and everyone was just hanging out.

Dusk at dusk
As soon as the sun went down, this laid-back festival transformed into a tiny Tucson rave, crowded with sweaty, shirtless 20-somethings. I went from sitting on the grass watching my favorite singer perform to getting kicked in the face by a crowd surfer.
There were so many students at the festival
There were lots of flower crowns
There were lots of people sitting on shoulders
Everyone got so into it
I will definitely be back next year.
