From our FB and IG posts about our kids to their own social media accounts, children's lives are pretty public these days — raising concerns about privacy, online identity, daily interactions and relationships with other kids.
The University of Arizona's College of Social and Behavioral Sciences is hosting a live conversation about these issues called: "Kids Online: Relationships and Privacy in a World of Twitter and Tinder."
If you want to be a part of the conversation you can submit comments and questions ahead of the event on their Facebook post here.
How are you helping your children understand privacy on the internet when they play online games, text a photo, gossip on Twitter? What issues are schools and teachers facing — for example, posting grades online?
This is the first of a five part series called "Conversations on Privacy," happening each Wednesday between Oct. 19 and Nov. 6 at the Fox Tucson Theatre.
Other topics include "Media Expose: Fame and Shame in the Digital Age," "Corporate Data Collection: What are We Willing to Give?," "Health & Bodies: Wearing Your Doctor on Your Wrist" and "Government Surveillance: Finding the Right Balance for Democracy."
