Casa Film Bar hosted a Gilmore Girls trivia night and it was awesome.

Casa Film Bar hosted a Gilmore Girls Trivia Night and it was everything you’d expect it to be: INTENSE

Like any great competition, Gilmore Girls Trivia Night required preparation. But not the kind that you dread β€” more like watching every episode on Netflix all over again.

We love any excuse to rewatch the episodes, so we (This is Tucson's Alicia Vega and Samantha Munsey) along with our resident Gilmore Girl expert Kimber Munsey accepted the challenge!

Here's all the action we spotted while flexing our Gilmore Girls knowledge β€” we'll try not to talk too fast!

Zero

The number of seats available when our Gilmore team arrived at Casa Film Bar a half hour before trivia night started. Some teams were already drinking beer and snacking on Fresco’s pizza; quizzing each other with Paris Geller-like determination. We were shook but managed to find a spot by a long table just outside of the bar. Some teams used the criss-cross applesauce method and sat on the floor.

With an overflow crowd, Krysta Pavlica, left, and Niki Patel get comfortable on the floor during Gilmore Girls Trivia Night at Casa Video, Tuesday, January 31, 2017.

This wasn't the first packed trivia night for Casa Film Bar. The Harry Potter trivia night they hosted over the summer was standing-room-only, and just last month they had a full house for "Friends" trivia night, according to a bartender who was handing out scoring sheets.

What’s in a name?

You may not go home a winner, but you gotta make sure your team name is fresh af. Some of our favorite team names included "The Vicious Trollops", "Cat Kirk" and "Monkey Monkey Underpants". We took the long route and came up with this gem:

We think we had a fresh af name.

"I’m not going to Harvard because I had sex" is a reference to a classic Gilmore Girls Season 3 scene when Paris announces to all of Chilton that she is not going to Harvard after receiving the "tiny envelope" in the mail.

There were 43 teams in total at trivia night and we only heard the names that were leading the board, so who knows what fantastic Gilmore puns we missed! "Oy with the poodles already"!

No new friends

Casa Film Bar kept it OG, no revival questions.

Some were too easy, like, "What was Lorelai dog's name?" Paul Anka. Obvi. Others were tough, "What did Lorelai and Rory give Dean as a wedding gift?"

Jessica Fitzgerald, left, and Sabrina Ellis, of team Dirty Pop, wrack their brains for an answer during Gilmore Girls Trivia Night.

Sam cheered with the excitement of a thousand Babettes when they asked "Why did Jess have a black eye during dinner?" A SWAN ATTACKED HIM, GUYS!

Also, who the heck remembers Rory's middle name? It's Leigh, btw.

Millennial party

As expected, there were so many millennials trying to get their Gilmore Girls trivia on. We guessed the age range to be 18-35, maybe 45. Lots of women and a handful of men, but everyone was wearing flannel. There was even a unintentional Luke lookalike serving beer behind the bar.

Elizabeth Porter, Maya Kraft, Abby Hill and Maggie Derksen showed up in their best flannel to the trivia night.

We weren't all winners

Casa Film Bar had three prizes: theΒ Eat Like a Gilmore: The Unofficial Cookbook for Fans of Gilmore Girls cookbook, a Luke's-inspired mug, and a Lorelai Funko Pop figurine.Β

Don't phone a friend, phone your mom

Especially if you grew up watching the show with her. The winning team was a group of five women, two mom-daughter pairs and a friend. All of them watched the show growing up with their moms, when it aired originally, when it moved to ABC Family and when it became available on Netflix. So, a lot. They had five out of six perfect rounds.

Two moms, two daughters and a friend took home a Luke's mug and the glory.

Claire and Emma Mendenhall, Heather and Wendy Wurr, and Terri Tellez, also known as Team Monkey Monkey Underpants, took home the Luke's mug. One of the moms joked that this would be the "Sisterhood of the Traveling Mug."

Rematch?

There were a lot of really great teams out there, it almost felt like a little Stars Hollow in Tucson. Let's do it again real soon! Any excuse to watch the episodes until the end of time.
