Coach of the Year Part II: First-year UA women’s basketball coachΒ Adia BarnesΒ produced a modest 14-16 overall record in an attempt to repair the Pac-12’s worst program. The progress was obvious, however. Arizona shot 40 percent as a team for the first time since 2011 and averaged 64 points a game, the highest in UA women’s hoops in six years.Β
