Synopsis :

Like Detroit, Seattle and Manchester, Tucson,Arizona is now the city from which emerges a new musical breath.

At the crossroads between the excitement of South America and raw rock of the USA, between east and west, the city led by Howe Gelb (Giant Sand) and Joey Burns (Calexico) was able to open up to many musicians and now generates an abundance of new sounds.

The film is a journey into this new musical Eldorado.

A l’image de ce que furent Detroit, Seattle ou Manchester, Tucson en Arizona est aujourd’hui la ville d’où émerge un nouveau souffle musical.

A la croisée des chemins, entre l’effervescence de l’Amérique du sud et le rock brut des USA, entre l’est et l’ouest, la ville sous la houlette de Howe Gelb (Giant Sand) et Joey Burns (Calexico) a su s’ouvrir à de nombreux musiciens et génère aujourd’hui un foisonnement de nouveaux sons.

Le film est un voyage dans ce nouvel eldorado musical.
