Despite beating No. 12 Michigan State 65-63 on Friday in Hawaii, Arizona stayed at No. 10 in the Associated Press Top 25 poll.
The reasons are pretty clear: Nobody else lost in the Top 10 except Kansas, which dropped from No. 3 to No. 7 after losing in overtime to Indiana in the second game of the Armed Forces Classic.
Also, UA edged a team below it in the rankings on a neutral court, which probably doesn't in itself call for a move upward. (I'm not voting this year but that would be my mindset if I was.)
Among other UA opponents in the poll, Oregon moved up from No. 5 to No. 4, while Gonzaga stayed at 14 and UCLA stayed at 16. Cal jumped in at No. 25 after drubbing South Dakota State without Ivan Rabb.
