Washington keeps losing, whether it has Markelle Fultz or not. The Huskies’ Jan. 29 loss at Arizona turned out to be only their third loss of what is now an eight-game losing streak. Fultz missed Washington’s losses at Utah and Colorado last week with an unspecified knee issue, but returned on Thursday to play 30 minutes against ASU.Β Fultz heaved a halfcourt shot at the buzzer that hit the rim but bounced off, leaving the Sun Devils with an 83-81 win and the Huskies with yet another loss.Washington has played with a smaller lineup featuring Dominic Green at power forward, but appears unlikely to use it much on Saturday against Arizona, while the Huskies have also been going with New Zealand big man Sam Timmins at center.Β
