The Tucson Soccer Academy produced 11 players who are competing (or have competed) in this year’s NCAA soccer tournament. Much like the CDO baseball signees, that’s got to be some kind of record. Ironwood Ridge’sΒ Kaitlyn Lopez, Palo Verde’sΒ LeeAndra Smith, Tempe Corona del Sol’sΒ Mykaylin Rosenquist, and Mountain View’sΒ LauraΒ PimientaΒ andΒ Priscilla PimientaΒ and Sahuaro’sΒ Jasmine SimmonsΒ play for Arizona; ASU’sΒ McKenzie GrossmanΒ andΒ Chandler MorrisΒ both played for TSA teams; as did Oklahoma’sΒ Madi KinzerΒ of Ironwood Ridge and NAU’sΒ Amber MeasleyΒ of Catalina Foothills.
