Agape Hospice Care has new chief exec in Holmes
Agape Hospice and Palliative Care announced several leadership changes:
Bill Holmes joined as a managing partner and CEO, responsible for leading strategic business activities and overseeing growth strategies.
Agape was founded by Tammy Burns and Dr. William Martz in 2012. Martz recently sold his interest in Agape to focus on his practice, Agape said in a news release. Tammy Burns and Russell Burns continue to maintain a controlling interest in the company.
Holmes previously was chief operating officer for the Tucson Metro Chamber and vice president of community relations for Wells Fargo Bank. He serves on the boards of Chicanos Por La Causa, the Tucson Medical Center Foundation and the Jewish Federation of Southern Arizona.

Sam Burns was named chief operating officer at Agape. He is a graduate of the Eller Business College at the University of Arizona and has worked in senior care for nearly 10 years.
Dr. Joel Monciviaz, a board-certified palliative care physician, now serves as full-time medical director of Agape.
