SORENSTAM, Annika

Annika Sorenstam, shown here in 1991 as a University of Arizona sophomore, had 11 wins in 25 starts in 2002. In two years at the University of Arizona Annika Sorenstam finished first and second at the NCAA Championships.

Years at UA: 1991-92

Notable achievement: In 1991, Sorenstam became the first freshman to ever win the NCAA Division I championship. She was also named the NCAA Co-Player of the Year in 1991. She's also an Arizona Hall-of-Famer.
