At Coolidge, the Panthers fell to 0-2 with the loss on the road.
Amphitheater trailed 35-6 entering the fourth quarter before scoring twice to cut the lead to 14.
Nathan Medina ran for 116 yards and a score for Amphi, while teammate Carlos Valarazo ran for 106 yards and a touchdown.
Medina and Valarazo both scored on 35-yard runs in the fourth quarter.
Amphi is off next week before traveling to Casa Grande on Sept. 11.
