Erik Oja, who developed as Arizona’s No. 1 golfer last season, successfully passed the first stage of the European Tour Qualifying School last week. In fact, he was tied for the lead after 36 holes at 13-under par. Oja is working with the Swedish Olympic team in preparation for the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics and is also playing on the Nordic Tour.
