If you're searching for someplace to go this Thanksgiving for whatever reason — you can't make it out to your family on the east coast or maybe the turkey in the oven didn't turn out as tasty as planned — here are some local spots staying open for the holiday.

Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum — It's one of Tucson's favorite attractions and it's open 365 days a year.
Blue Willow — Reservations are required for a Thanksgiving meal at Blue Willow, open 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Brother John's Beer, Bourbon & BBQ — This barbecue spot will be open with limited seating from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Casa Video & Film Bar — Catch a 7 p.m. screening of "The Last Waltz" followed by a 10 p.m. screening of "Snowpiercer." The store and bar will be open normal hours, 10-1 a.m.
Casino Del Sol — There will be a Thanksgiving prix fixe menu at PY Steakhouse from 2-8 p.m., priced at $75 per person.
Chef Wang — Find Northeastern Chinese food at Chef Wang, which is staying open this Thanksgiving.
Che's Lounge — Che's will open its doors at 7 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day.
Cielos at Lodge on the Desert — From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thanksgiving Day, Cielos will be offering a buffet with loads of dishes. $79 for adults, $29 for kids ages 12 and under. Kids ages 5 and under dine for free.
Cup Cafe — The restaurant at Hotel Congress has a $65 prix fixe menu for the holiday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., including a choice of slow-roasted turkey breast, prime rib or a veggie option.
Forty Niner Country Club — Indulge in a Thanksgiving brunch from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., priced at $65 for adults, $25 for kids ages 4-11.
Golf N' Stuff — Hit the arcade or maybe try your hand at a round of mini golf.
Govinda's — Enjoy an all-vegan menu, including tofu turkey, from noon to 5 p.m. The meal is priced at $21.95 for adults.
Jewel's Noodle Kitchen — We love this hidden gem. Good news: They'll be open on Thanksgiving.
Jun Dynasty — Get traditional Szechuan items from Jun Dynasty on Thanksgiving this year. The restaurant will close the following day, Nov. 29.
The Loft Cinema — Catch a movie at Tucson's independent theater. Screenings include "Jurassic Park" and "A Real Pain."
Lovin' Spoonfuls — This beloved vegan spot will be open for reservation only from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. with a vegan prix fixe for $32.
Lucky Strike Bowl — Try to get some strikes this Thanksgiving while bowling at Lucky Strike. The bowling alley opens at 3 p.m.
Omni Tucson National — Enjoy Thanksgiving brunch from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Find breakfast favorites, plus turkey, ham, stuffing and more for $89 for adults, $39 for kids ages 6-12.
Nomico — This shop is known for their snacks like raindrop cakes, crepe cakes and milk tea.
The Nugget — This neighborhood bar will be open on Thanksgiving!
Roadhouse Cinemas — Enjoy dinner and a movie at Roadhouse, with screenings that include "Wicked," "Elf" and "Gladiator II." (Movie theater chains are also often open on Thanksgiving, check with your nearby theater to confirm.)
Sullivan's Steakhouse — A three-course turkey dinner will be available on Thanksgiving for $51. The regular menu will also be available. Open 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Trident Grill — Trident's location on Swan Road will be open 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. The regular menu will be available, in addition to a $25 Thanksgiving dinner.
Westward Look — Enjoy carvings, sides, salads and more at this buffet priced at $109 per adult, $55 for kids ages 6-12. Expect live music and a mimosa station. Seatings are at 10 a.m., 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 2 p.m.
