Washington State drew a relatively quiet crowd of 3,448 fans Thursday, but the WSU students perked up every time Allonzo Trier held the ball.
The old standard “cheater, cheater, cheater” was among the many chants, and a trash can was among the props.
Trier had eight points on 3-for-12 shooting.
