Favored to win the Pan-Pacific swimming championship in the 100 breast stroke last week in Brisbaine, Australia, UA senior and six-time NCAA champion Kevin Cordes was disqualified when his goggles snapped in mid-race and came off. Better than in the Olympic Trials or NCAA finals, I suppose.
