Sunnyside’s football playoff upset over No. 2 seed Ironwood Ridge on Friday was as monumental in Tucson prep football as any in the last decade. Coach Glenn Posey has three juniors who have made more than 100 tackles this year — Ruben Figueroa, Aaron Sanders and Deshay Ramos — suggesting that this could be the start of the best success at the program since Richard Sanchez’s remarkable run as Blue Devils coach.
