Leslie Luna: An O'odham introduction

When the Tohono O'odham introduce themselves, it's customary to let people know who their parents and grandparents are and where they're from. Here is Leslie Luna, co-director of the new Tohono O'odham Language Center, introducing himself during a radio interview on the radio program for the Tohono O'odham Community College.

The O'odham language was placed on UNESCO's endangered list in 2018, something Tohono O'odham language experts saw coming but that has allowed the nation to obtain funding for a language center.
