Convergys Corp. plans to fill 500 positions in Tucson over the next three months.
The company will hold a job fair on Friday, July 22, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 3760 N Commerce Dr., Suite 160, in Tucson.

“We are looking for highly motivated individuals to provide direct support to customers over the phone," Geomara Armenta, site director for the Convergys’ contact center in Tucson, said in a news release Wednesday.
Convergys says it offers on-site employees comprehensive training, competitive wages and benefits including medical and dental insurance, 401(k), tuition reimbursement, and paid and unpaid time off.
Convergys' announcement comes a day after another call-center operator, Afni Inc., said it will hire 300 customer service representatives in Tucson.
