Biz awards earned in Southern Arizona

• Braxton Lee Campbell:

• Campbell, culinary team member at the LongHorn Steakhouse at 4421 N. Oracle Road, was recently recognized as the regional winner of the company’s Steak Master Series competition.

He was one of 60 team members from nearly 6,000 in the company to achieve this distinction through written and culinary tests. Campbell has been cooking for more than 23 years, the last six with LongHorn Steakhouse, where he is part of the restaurant’s training team.

• Marcus, owner of Allegra Print, Mail, Signs in Tucson, at 1300 S. Park Ave., Suite 110, was recently awarded the 2015 Sales Excellence Award by Alliance Franchise Brands.

This recognition is given to the top 10 percent of the international network of marketing and print services providers.

• Mike Rankin:

• Rankin, city attorney for Tucson, was honored by the State Bar of Arizona with the 2016 Distinguished Public Lawyer Award.

A Tucson native and University of Arizona alumnus, Rankin joined the City Attorney’s Office directly out of law school in 1992 and has served as city attorney for 12 years. Rankin provides legal advice to the mayor, City Council and city departments, represents the city in all civil cases, and oversees criminal prosecutions.
