Bradley Rhea, owner of Barrio Vintage in Honolulu, sets up a display Thursday for a retro Hawaiian pop-up shop at How Sweet It Was Vintage boutique in Tucson at 424 E. 6th St. Rhea, a Tucson native, is showcasing vintage Hawaiian fashion from the 60s, 70s and 80s. βIβm bringing some classic aloha-wear from the 50s, wild 1960s tiki prints and even some rad surf shorts from the 80s β the type of clothing that will have you feeling like youβre sipping a mai tai on Waikiki Beach,β Rhea said. The pop-up event commenced with a Hawaiian themed party Thursday night, and will run through Sunday, while supplies last. Barrio Vintage is a Hawaii vintage clothing retailer that has been feature in Nylon Magazine, The Wall Street Journal and Vogue Japan.
