- Hughes Federal Credit Union: The credit union’s Visa Platinum Card has been named as one of the Top 15 Best Credit Union Credit Cards by GoBankingRates.com. The card offers members one rate for purchases, balance transfers and cash advances. It was also praised for its theft and purchase-security coverage, along with medical and legal referral, and trip assistance.
- Tucson Advertising Hall of Fame: The Tucson Advertising Federation Educational Foundation and American Advertising Federation Tucson have announced that Steve Lynn, Chris Mooney and Balfour Walker will be inducted into the Tucson Advertising Hall of Fame on Sept. 7. The Advertising Hall of Fame seeks to recognize Southern Arizona marketing and advertising professionals who have led, mentored and inspired others to succeed in the industry. Nicholas Duarte has been selected to receive the 2017 Next Generation Award, which honors outstanding advertising professionals age 40 and younger, for leadership, career achievements and community contributions. Doug Myers and Lisa Hilton will be recognized with the AAF Silver Medal Award, created to recognize men and women who have made contributions to advertising and who have been active in furthering the industry’s standards, creative excellence and responsibility in areas of social concern.
- Realty Executives Tucson Elite: Realty Executives International named Realty Executives Tucson Elite the Brokerage of the Month for June 2017. The honor recognizes the firm’s high agent productivity, rapid growth, and agent-centric business model.
