Dr. Nicholas Coles with Valentino Lugo, the Wisdom for Wisdom recipient.

  • Arizona Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons: The Oro Valley office of AZOMS performed a free wisdom tooth extraction for a recent Tucson high school graduate as part of its Wisdom for Wisdom program. The program is designed to provide a deserving student with the opportunity to make their textbooks for the upcoming academic year of college more affordable by offsetting the cost of the dental procedure. Valentino Lugo, a Pueblo Magnet High School graduate, was selected for the Wisdom for Wisdom program. Lugo, a first-generation college student, will attend the University of Arizona. He graduated in the top 5 of his senior class and performed 800 hours of community service. “If I am selected as a recipient of this wonderful opportunity, to me it would be a stepping stone into my future, while not being a step backwards in my family’s financial future,” Lugo said in his application.
