Vantage West Credit Union: Has kicked off its internal fundraising efforts for United Way of Tucson and Southern Arizona by donating $10,000. The regional fundraising campaign for United Way, which officially begins Sept. 17, is being steered by Vantage West President and CEO Robert D. Ramirez, who is serving as the United Way Community Campaign chairman for 2015-2016.
Wells Fargo: Tucson-based employees of Wells Fargo have teamed up with Cheeriodicals, a national get-well gift company, to bring boxes filled with stuffed animals, puzzles, magazines, toys and crafts to the patients and families at Banner Children’s — Diamond Children’s Medical Center. The gifts will be delivered Monday, Aug. 31.
Premiere Piano Home of Steinway: The store at Plaza Palomino, 2990 N. Swan Road, will host a benefit Dec. 19 for Arizona Fisher House, which houses military and veterans’ families.
