The Autobahn Indoor Speedway, an indoor auto track for Italian-style pro-karts that hit 50 mph, opens in May at 300 S. Toole Ave.

Speed-racers will soon be able to start their engines at an indoor racing track downtown.

Autobahn Indoor Speedway is opening a European-style facility at 300 S. Toole Ave. in May.

Racers will ride Italian electric pro-karts that reach speeds of 50 mph.

Autobahn has six indoor-track locations across the country and is opening four others, including the Tucson site, this year.

The company leased the 60,000-square-foot facility from the Levin Family Limited Partnership. Stephen D. Cohen and Russell W. Hall, with Picor, represented the landlord, and Tim Healy, with CBRE, represented the tenant.

Other recent commercial transactions include:

  • Noble Motors Inc. leased a 41,000-square-foot auto lot at 1740 E. Fair St. from Benson Highway Auto Sales LLC. Jeff Zellet, with Picor, handled the lease.
  • The Muscular Dystrophy Association Inc. leased 5,984 square feet at 6400 E. Grant Road from La Mirada LLC. Rick Kleiner, with Picor, represented both parties.
  • EKS Group LLC leased 5,100 square feet at 5131 E. Canada St. from L and SD Properties LLC. Picor’s Paul Hooker represented the landlord.
  • CTP Carrera Inc., dba Carclo Technical Plastics, leased 5,000 square feet at 1270 W. Glenn St. from Long Far Investments LLC. Stephen D. Cohen and Russell W. Hall, with Picor, represented the tenant, and Picor’s Paul Hooker represented the landlord.
  • Gerinet Palliative Care LLC leased 4,790 square feet at 6375 E. Tanque Verde Road from CSFB 2005-C3 Tanque Verde LLC. Isaac Figueroa and Rick Kleiner, with Picor, represented the landlord, and Tom Nieman, also with Picor, represented the tenant.
  • Rodeo Mechanical Inc. leased 3,990 square feet at 4001 S. Contractors Way from Brea Properties. Stephen D. Cohen and Russell W. Hall, with Picor, represented the landlord, and Picor’s Pat Welchert represented the tenant.
  • Sonora Quest Labs leased 3,967 square feet at 1925 W. Orange Grove Road from SOD Brookside LLC. Rick Kleiner, with Picor, represented the tenant, and Phil Skillings, with NAI/Horizon, represented the landlord.
  • E-Konomy Pool Services Inc. leased 3,548 square feet at 3821 W. Costco Drive from Bay Shore Oil Co. Inc. Greg Furrier, with Picor, represented the tenant, and David Hammack, with Volk Co., represented the landlord.
  • Copper Star Automotive leased 2,250 square feet at 8101 E. Research Court from Con-Cor International Ltd. Ron Zimmerman, with Picor, represented the landlord.
  • Tumbleweed Compadre Inc. leased 2,200 square feet at 3957 E. Speedway from Central Point Tucson LLC. Brandon Rodgers, with Picor, represented the landlord.
